Skal have been quickly gaining momentum throughout 2026. The Winsford band sold out  their March headline show at Liverpool’s Archive a staggering 54 days before the event. In addition, the five piece have also performed high profile support slots, including a festival slot at Noisy Weekender, supporting The Kairos in Liverpool and Southampton, Garage Flower in Camden, London, The Alarm 2.0 in Leeds and Liverpool and The Real People in the 700 cap Hangar 34 in Liverpool. Their newest single, “Waiting (To Be Free)” has seen Skal go from strength to strength, seeing airplay from the likes of Amazing Radio in the USA and UK. The quintet are set to announce their debut EP release this autumn. With the band’s growing reputation for high-energy performances and raw lyrical honesty, Skal is poised to solidify their place as one of the UK’s most exciting up-and-coming acts.
